I believe that all things come down to story. The years I have spent interpreting the Public Art program and expanding online content for 4Culture have influenced my own practice. Building the audio for 4Culture’s cell phone program and developing online content for the organization has been a deepening storytelling experience.
STQRY, a mobile app that was developed to deliver cultural and heritage map-based content, is a tool that I am adopting for the Story Chairs project. Available on iPhone, Android and Microsoft platforms, it allows for text, images, video and audio for enriched storytelling about place or, in my case, the country of stories.
Download the free STQRY app online or scan the QR code, and explore cultural and heritage sites throughout the region as STQRY is adopted by sites, cities and organizations. STQRY is a map based application that can be searched by name or from your current map location, or by scanning a QR code with your phone. My first project for STQRY is Story Chairs; you may search for it under Tina Hoggatt.
